Yankees – Braves Game 1 Recap

Wow, Game 1 can almost be summed up as the Giancarlo Stanton show, Stanton drove a solo homer in early and also walloped the hardest hit ball in Truist park history last night with a double that came off the bat at 119.2 miles per hour! Both starting pitchers went deep into the ballgame, and if it wasn’t for Stanton’s second mash it would have been an amazing night for the young Braves pitcher Ynoa. Loaisiga came in and absolutely dominated for the Yankees and Chapman had a four run cushion to work with to close it out. The two hottest teams in baseball meet tomorrow night and the matchup will be aired on MLB network, my gut says to stay away from this matchup, but if we see the Braves as a home underdog I can definitely get behind them, even though betting against the Yankees doesn’t seem to be working out too well lately, the Braves tomorrow, and the Athletics series coming up may finally lead to some losses in the Yankees L column. Watch for the braves to bounce back tomorrow night.

The pick: Braves ML at +115 or better
